Obama Wins: “Welcome Back, Carter”

I have to say I’m disappointed.

I’m disappointed that there was no cost to the news media for being in the tank for Obama.  I’m disappointed that there was no cost to ACORN and other organizations for vote fraud.  I’m disappointed that there was no cost for violating Joe the Plumber’s privacy.  I’m disappointed that there was no cost for the vicious and undeserved attacks on Sarah Palin.

I really cannot understand this election result.

Are there really that many people who cannot see that the economic problems (slumping economy, credit crunch, high energy prices) were the fault of the Democratic Party-led Senate and House, and that now there is no restriction on doing even more of the same?  Are there really that many people who don’t recognize the shell game that has been played with our national security by Democrats regarding Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran?

I hope Obama, Pelosi, and Reid don’t do any irreversible damage.

Unfortunately, the complicit media will find a way to shield their darlings from any criticism when things go wrong.  The wrong lessons are being taught, and this election shows that the wrong lessons are being learned.

Welcome back to 1976.  Welcome back to Jimmy Carter.
