Here’s the thing I liked best about his performance against Tampa Bay: he was able to get up under center quite a few times; I’m not good enough to recognize “the spread” offense when I’m busy watching the game, but the fact that he was under center quite a few times tells me that he is transitioning out of “the spread” and into a normal NFL offense role. The fact that he still peformed so well bodes very well for his future in the NFL as a starter.
